Noach
[literally "descendants of Noah"] is the oldest of all
faiths. Its beginnings are rooted in the creation of the
world,
but it really took form with Noah. Seven principles were
given to
Noah which form the basis of civilization:
- You shall not have
any idols before the Creator.
- You shall not
murder.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not
commit adultery.
- You shall not
blaspheme God's name.
- You shall not eat
any part of an animal that was taken while it was still alive.
- You shall
establish laws and courts of justice.
B'nai Noach is one of only two paths open for those who seek a closer
relationship to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
